Medical Crisis - An Overview

The concept of Customer and Service provider in the profession of healthcare delivery is new and trending these days. Increased consumerism and materialism has increased the trust gap among various players. Increasing awareness, hostile attitude of society, availability of legal hammer and declining camaraderie among medical practitioners are few visible obstacles raising its bar everyday. What can be done in these unfair and suffocating circumstances usually beyond our control? There can be innumerable ideas on this issue but these are not well comprehended, collated or adopted by many of us. Either we sit back and take the nonsense or we innovate, think out of the box and survive! Many unfortunately think that actually nothing can be done to redeem the situation! Those who do not innovate will perish in consumer centric world !! If people have reduced this noble profession to the level of trade or business based on various variables then it is wise and logical to apply all market force multipliers to be victorious and profitable. It is self-defeating exercise if we carry on with human values and sacrosanct ideas, so called ethics. I shall request all my colleagues who dare to think and go beyond the actual call to suggest ways and means to win over the prevailing distrust and medical chaos! With my limited knowledge and with my limited knowledge and experience, I would like to forward my views for analytical discussion.  Let us innovate and be always one step ahead of our customers and public at large.  All doctors should study consumer behavior, human psychology, and medical management. How and where can be debated later? Ignorance of the law is no excuse. We all should have adequate knowledge of all related laws, bye- laws and regulations. Emphasis on acquired soft skills. Transparency in all types of interactions between the doctor and client. Specific and accurate documentation with proper record keeping. I also agree that many medical diseases carry a lot of psychosomatic overlay and faith, trust and suggestion plays a significant role in the overall cure of medical ailments. Yet, to ensure a safe and winning atmosphere in our workplace is as much our responsibility as that of the state, society, and law enforcing agencies.

Yellow fever : ·        Mandatory vaccination against yellow fever is carried out to prevent the importation of yellow fever virus into vulnerable countries. In such cases, vaccination is an entry requirement for all travellers arriving from countries, including airport transit, where there is a risk of yellow fever transmission. PROTECT your joints now, or pay later.

See the full gallery on Posterous That’s the message of today’s article, which could be headlined Joint Economics. If you are one of the more than 400,000 people a year who have already had one or more hips or knees replaced — or someone who already has no choice but to consider joining their ranks — we offer our sympathies or encouragement or even congratulations, depending on how you are faring. But this column is for people who are not yet destined to necessarily become part of those statistics. Although the human body has an amazing capacity to repair itself, our joints are surprisingly fragile. When the cartilage that cushions bones wears away, it does not grow back. Thinning cartilage contributes to   osteoarthritis , also known as degenerative   arthritis , a painful and often debilitating condition. Over time, arthritic joints can become so sore and inflamed that they need to be replaced with mechanical substitutes. A result: more pain, at least in the short
